Here are some solid wood samples to help you make a more informed choice of wood species for your
Clara bookcase. These are optional but will help you better visualize the grain of the wood and how it fits in your home.
You can choose between 2 types of wood or all 4.
The BLACK WALNUT is a very dark and rich wood with a wide variety of brown tones.
SUGAR MAPLE is the palest of the choices, with a subtle grain but there are some grayer sections.
RED OAK is a reddish wood with a very distinctive grain and lines of quite varied hues.
CHERRY is also a reddish wood with a more subtle, even grain that darkens over time. It is to be expected to find dark dots scattered on the wood, as can be seen in the photo.
