Selection of natural solid wood species and colored stains on solid Douglas fir. Finish made from renewable vegetable oils and natural vegetable waxes. Resistant to water, wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, and milk. Once dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals, and plants; it also complies with European standard EN 71.3 for children's toys and is resistant to perspiration and saliva.
These are optional but will help you better visualize the wood grain and how it fits into your space.
BLACK WALNUT is a very dark and rich wood with a wide variety of brown tones.
SUGAR MAPLE is the palest choice, with a subtle grain but some grayer sections.
RED OAK is a reddish wood with a very distinctive grain and lines in a variety of shades.
CHERRY is also a reddish wood with a more subtle and uniform grain that darkens over time. Expect to find dark spots scattered throughout the wood, as seen in the photo.
